My first TK build started with an sense of overwhelming dispair looking at the kit I had just recieved. I was so worried about messing it up, I ended up reselling the kit to another trooper and bought a commissioned one.
If it felt daunting at the time, with more experience building armors, I came back to it, made my first TK , then another one, then another. Eventually I was asked to build a shadow trooper which had the particularity to not allow for much mistake with the glue which would immidiately stand out on the black ABS.
It was also the first full armor commission for me. I had sold some of my work before of course but it was the first time I had to build an armor for someone else – that familiar stress of failing kicked in once more but I prevailed.
