With all the new shows, 4k frame-by-frame reviews of costumes are the new norms for screen accuracy…but now there is also “insiders” info – some made public and others on a hush hush basis that “should not be shared publicly”. We also have more behind the scene(BTS) shots (official and otherwise) with a trend to use these above what is seen on screen ( fair enough if the information is ONLY available there )… a slippery slope between “screen accuracy” and “set accuracy”.
I am currently reading something about “dark maroon twill fabric” based on a BTS shot ( which I can only assume but cannot confirmed is NOT the one below) – As a designer , for the sake of argument (and my own sanity) I present you: Maroon Vs. Burgundy.
