For the celebration in Japan, I will be joining Max in a duo featuring crossover costumes. He will be dressed as a Mando from the Terran Empire, while I will be going as a Ghostbusters-themed Mando.
To create my Ghostbusters costume, I used a custom-made vest and a jumpsuit that is an accurate replica of the one I wore on screen, along with matching boots. The belt is also from the movie, but I fashioned a custom vest with plates similar to Boba Fett’s. My helmet resembles Boba Fett’s as well, and one of the shoulder pieces is painted with the Ghostbusters logo. Additionally, I constructed a jetpack designed to resemble a proton pack, complete with various components and stickers that have been reworked to fit within the Star Wars universe. I also created a proton wand/blaster as part of my costume I’m really looking forward to trooping in this outfit alongside my son at the celebration in Japan!
