One of the greatest addition to the Star Wars Universe with the live action show is the background characters, especially Xwing Pilots being given a good deal of recognition. One such character is obviously Carson Teva who has been seen throughout the new productions; The Mandalorian of course, Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka.
The costume detailing is of course on point with a clear respect for the original material but with enough added feature to make it unique in its own right; especially the iconic leather pilot jacket which I have loved since the first time I saw it on screen. It only made sense to replicate it.
The first prototype was made in PU and while perfect in design it did not convey the grandeur I wanted it to have so I had it made in actual leather. I also replicated the design of the patches and had them produced so that it would be a perfect replica.
Of course it was way to shiny and new when it arrived so I had it go through some weathering to give it a slightly worn effect and I love the final result.
