When watching the first episode of Book of Boba Fett, I could not help starting at his jumpsuit; so many things that were familiar ( having done the ROTJ one in the past) and then so many things new. When the season ended, I decided to make a complete comparative analysis which of course led me to go for a pattern, then a prototype then a final production. Then I decided to trash the suit and weather it as much as possible – minus the sand- in relation to what you could see in the episodes flashback scenes.
Eventually it led me to take it with me to Celebration complete with a silicone mask… sadly while the mask is a pretty good replication of the feature, it turns out to be way too thick thus breaking a bit the illusion I was going for.
That being said I am still pretty happy with the final results which got me a ” Nice Costume there” from none other that Shawna Trpcic the actual costume designer in charge of that production ( an many more) .
