Rogue one introduced a bunch of absolutely stunning new troopers. The tank trooper is by far my favorite but the shore trooper is up there for various reasons not least of which the incredible paint job. For the first time an imperial trooper has “colours” (plural) – not monochromatic.
I built several of these, some in ABS , others 3D printed simply because the paint job is so much fun to do’ especially the helmet. I learned the importance of layering colours to add to the weathering effects I wanted to achieved; a technique that remains at the core of all my builds since then.
